Hi and welcome to Innim Akita's. We are Sam and Stephen Baker, we live in the heart of the Cotswold's with our beautiful daughter 'Kelly' and our ever-growing family of Akita's. We spend most of our days on the family farm where we keep Horses, Goats, Sheep and Chickens. Our Akita's have free roam of all 8 acres and run happily alongside all our other animals. Its definitely a family affair here at Innim, and that is just the way we like it.

We were first introduced to the Akita almost 7 years ago whilst living in Colchester, Essex UK. It was instant love at first sight and from that day to this knew it was the only breed for us. After two years of researching the breed we made our first purchase, our beloved girl 'Orca', she was the apple of Steve's eye which is something that has never changed. Kelly and I often wonder who comes first at home .... his baby Orca or us, hahaha.

When Orca reached 3 years of age we contemplated breeding her, initially so we could keep a bitch puppy and always have a piece of our beloved pet for many years ahead. Orca was hip scored and our search began for a suitable mate.

In 2006 we were blessed with another new addition .... Dollar, who was bred by our good friends at Whitewreath Kennels. He is exactly what we were looking for, a stunning Red and White boy with a head to die for. His temperament is second to none and he lights up the day with his silly boy antics.

In 2007 we decided we would like to try our hand at showing the Akita, and have done a few Companion shows with Dollar, who has done us extremely proud. We are now bitten by the bug and have decided to pursue the showing venture at full steam and have placed a booking for our 3rd Akita to join us at Innim.... This time a little girl who will hopefully have all of the qualities required to make her entrance into the Champ show circuit, where she will be devotedly handled by our daughter Kelly.

The future is looking bright and exciting for Innim and we hope to expand in the coming years with more exceptional Akita's.
